Ever since Little Mix star Perrie Edwards split with her fiance Zayn Malik back in 2015 she has had to face a whole load of speculation about her love life.
In recent months, Perrie has been linked to everybody from YouTuber Joe Sugg to Skins actor Luke Pasqualino but she has now gone public with new boyfriend, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The singer was linked to the Arsenal footballer last month but neither she or Alex commented on the speculation, however, last night Perrie shared a photo of Alex sitting with her dogs at her dinner table.
It has been reported that Perrie and Alex started dating last November and she has even made several trips to watch him play football but she has avoided being too public with the relationship because she is wary of being labelled a ‘WAG’.
A source told The Sun: “Perrie wants to keep her love life private and also doesn’t want to be regarded as a stereotypical football WAG.
“It’s early days and they’re still getting to know each other. Alex fully supports her as he too wants to be known as a footballer, not dating a pop star.”
Alex was spotted supporting Perrie in the crowd when Little Mix performed at the X Factor final back in December, prompting rumours that they were secretly dating.
An insider told The Sun at the time: “He didn’t take his eyes off her throughout the entire thing and he didn’t stop smiling. Afterwards he took pictures with fans and took time to chat to people in the audience, he seems like a genuinely nice man.”
Perrie was left brokenhearted when Zayn ended their four-year romance via text message shortly after he sensationally quit boyband One Direction.
Opening up about the split in Little Mix’s autobiography last year, Perrie shared: “It was horrible, the worst time in my life. A four-year relationship, two-year engagement ended by a simple text message. Just like that
“Even though things in my career were going really well, it was incredibly difficult for me.”
It’s safe to say that Perrie deserves a bit of happiness in her love life, here’s hoping that she and Alex live happily ever after.
Is it true that Little Mix’s song “Shout out to my ex” is about Zerrie’s break up?

Technically speaking SOTME was written by a group of songwriters, with Little Mix not being credited at all. However, there’s nothing to suggest that it wasn’t inspired by Zerrie’s break-up. So far, it hasn’t been confirmed or denied!
