Throughout his time in One Direction, Zayn and Louis were incredibly close, with fans affectionately dubbing their friendship ‘Zouis’.

However, things turned sour when Zayn sensationally quit the group in March 2015, with him soon having a very public Twitter spat with Louis over his relationship with music producer Naughty Boy.

Last month Zayn appeared to offer a public olive branch to Louis after the star tragically lost his mother, Johannah Deakin, following a short battle with leukaemia.

After news of Johannah’s death broke, Zayn tweeted: “Love you bro! All of your family is in my prayers. Proud of your strength and know your mum is too x”.

It was later reported that Zayn had privately been in constant contact with Louis in the days following Johannah’s death, implying that the pair are definitely back on good terms.

The Brit Award winners will be announced at the ceremony at London’s The O2 on February 22nd.
